Just in from National Association for Gun Rights ….
Mayors from across the country continue dropping out of Michael Bloomberg’s anti-gun group, Mayors Against Guns, at an alarming rate.
One recent report indicated more than 50 mayors withdrew their membership from his group within the last year.
While I have serious questions about the common sense of any elected official who chooses to associate with Michael Bloomberg, the words of one recent drop-out reveal Bloomberg’s true anti-gun agenda.
Last week, after withdrawing his membership, the Mayor of Poughkeepsie, New York, had this so say:
“[Mayors Against Guns] became a vehicle for Bloomberg to promote his personal gun-control agenda — violating the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding citizens . . . [Mayors Against Guns] intended to promote confiscation of guns from law-abiding citizens.”
The fact is, his words are nothing more than a confirmation of what you and I already know . . .
Bloomberg is focused like a laser on gutting your Second Amendment rights wherever he can.
And he has a $31 billion dollar fortune to sustain his war on your rights.
Earlier this year, Bloomberg’s right-hand man revealed he would spend at least $25 million to [in his words] ram his “whole foot” down the throat of gun owners.
Gun registration. Magazine bans. New “mental health” mandates. It’s all on the table.
From their headquarters in Washington, DC and New York City, Bloomberg’s high-paid lobbyists jet around the country, dropping in on state capitols nationwide threatening to spend big against legislators who won’t support his anti-gun agenda.
History also tells us gun-grabbers like Bloomberg are just waiting for the next shoe to drop . . .
They’re preparing for the next high-profile shooting to take advantage of.
And this time, they’ll be even more ready than they were the last time.
The reality is, Bloomberg has thousands of elected allies at all levels of government.
That’s why it’s vital you stay activated and mobilized to defend our Second Amendment rights at all times.
Executive Vice President
P.S. Dozens of mayors have dropped out of Michael Bloomberg’s anti-gun group, Mayors Against Guns, within the last year.
But Bloomberg still has billions of dollars and thousands of elected officials across the country who support his anti-gun agenda.
